Who We Are The Maine Counseling Association (MeCA) is a professional organization representing licensed counselors, school counselors, counseling supervisors, and graduate students training to become counselors. MeCA supports its members through professional development, advocacy, and networking, and works to uphold high standards in accreditation, licensure, and national certification. Our members serve across Maine in schools, mental health agencies, community organizations, employment and rehabilitation programs, and private practice, making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
